We want to inform you about a slight update in our service/processing fees for international registrations. It’s important to note that these fees have remained constant since we introduced support for international events on our platform.

This adjustment aligns the fees for international events with those for US-based events. When combined with Stripe fees, our Stripe platform fees now roughly reflect the non-Stripe US fee percentages. Previously, international fees were a flat $2.50, and they will now be adjusted to 4% + $1 with a $4 minimum.

Our fees are charged to the runner, while Stripe fees remain the responsibility of the Race Director, deducted before the Stripe payout. Stripe fees typically average around 2.9% + $0.30. We’ve factored in potential additional fees Stripe might charge for currency conversion or international card transactions, which could add 1% and 1.5%.

This change is essential to keep pace with inflation and maintain the range of services we offer, such as complimentary email deliveries to your participant lists, a free timing app, results management, and more – all designed to assist you in maximizing your event’s revenue. As our platform expands, these services do carry associated fees for us. This adjustment is our sole fee change for Stripe events at present, and there are no foreseeable changes in the near future.
