Note: You can update all information on your profile except for your first name. If a first name change is required, please contact support.
Step-by-Step Guide #
- Access the UltraSignup platform and log in to your account.
- Navigate to Account Info:
- Once logged in, locate the account info menu.
- Access Profile Editing:
- Click on “Edit Profile” at the bottom left corner in the dropdown box/menu.
- Modify Last Name:
- Inside the profile editor, click into the last name field and type your updated last name.
- Save Changes:
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Update” to save your changes.
Additional Notes #
- Name Recommendations:
- Avoid using nicknames or middle initials for your UltraSignup account to ensure accurate result tracking.
- Common Name Considerations:
- If you have a common name, be aware that results are categorized by first and last names, and you may see all runners with the same name on the page.
- Editing Results:
- To move a result to your name and age, log in and use the edit link on your results page. This feature is available on the desktop version, not on mobile.
Where Did Your Results Go? #
If your results disappear after a name change, submit a results merge request. Open your new results page, click “Name Change/Merge,” select the appropriate option, and submit the request. Use the notes section to specify which results need to be moved.
Processing Time: Allow 24 hours for the requested changes to be reflected.
