Why Are My Race Results Mixed Up with Another Runner’s?
Seeing race results mixed with another runner’s? If you have a common name, multiple runners may appear on the same results page. UltraSignup organizes results by first and last name and calculates your current age for ranking. You can move your results to your profile by logging in, using the desktop version, and selecting ‘Edit My Results.’ Follow the steps below to make sure your results are correctly assigned to you.
Understanding Result Display
When you have a common name, you may notice that multiple runners with the same name appear on the results page. Results within our system are organized primarily by first and last names, showcased on a single page. Furthermore, results are categorized based on the participant's calculated current age.
Moving Results to Your Profile

Accessing Editing Feature:
- Log in to your UltraSignup account to move a result to your specific name and age.

Navigate to Results:
- Locate the results page displaying your races (and others with the same name).

Using Desktop Version:
- The feature to edit and move results is available exclusively on the desktop version of the website. Ensure you're using a desktop browser.

Edit Link:
- Look for the "Edit My Results" link provided at the top of your results page.

Making the Changes:
- Drag and drop results belonging to you into your section.

Save the Changes:
- Once you've made the necessary updates, your changes are automatically saved.
Results under a different spelling of your name?
Submit a results merge request. Open your results page, click "Name Change/Merge," select the appropriate option, and submit the request. Use the notes section to specify which results need to be moved.

Processing Time: Allow 24 hours for the requested changes to be reflected.
