Official Message from Stripe:
We’re writing about upcoming Stripe pricing changes for your connected accounts starting June 17, 2025. Most of your connected accounts will only be affected by one of these changes and we wanted to let you know before we start sharing relevant updates with them on March 18, 2025.
- Countering disputes (Global): In recent years, card networks have increased fees for handling disputes. Because of these costs, a new $15.00 fee will apply to counter disputes initiated after June 17, 2025. This fee will be returned if the dispute is won. The existing $15.00 dispute fee, charged each time a dispute is received, is not changing. Learn more.
- Link payments (UK, Gibraltar, the EEA, and Switzerland): Link is an accelerated checkout solution built by Stripe and used by hundreds of thousands of businesses. Starting on June 17, 2025, Link pricing will match card pricing for payments made in the UK, Gibraltar, the EEA, and Switzerland. Learn more.
- Radar (Global): Radar uses machine learning trained on billions of data points to detect and block fraud. Businesses using Radar see a 38% reduction in fraud on average. Starting June 17, 2025 all businesses using Radar will be charged in line with current pricing. Learn more.
These changes will also apply to any direct processing you have with Stripe. We’re here to help you navigate these changes with your users. If you have any questions, please visit our support site.
