How Do I Register Someone Else or Gift a Race Registration?

Want to register a friend or gift someone a race entry? You can do this by registering as a guest—but only if you're not logged into your UltraSignup account. This option works for standard race entries, but not for lotteries or waitlists, which require the runner to register with their own account. Follow the steps below to complete a registration for someone else.

How to Register Someone Else for a Race

1. Log Out of Your UltraSignup Account

You must be logged out to access guest registration.

2. Start the Registration Process

Go to the event’s registration page.

When prompted to sign in, click the green “Register as a Guest” link on the right side of the screen.

3. Complete the Registration Form

Enter the other runner’s name, email, and details.

If you’ve already registered yourself for this event, it's best to use a different email address to avoid issues.

Important Notes

Lotteries and Waitlists:
The guest registration option is not available for lottery or waitlisted events.
In these cases, the person must register using their own UltraSignup account.

Confirmation and Communication:
All registration details and confirmations will be sent to the email entered during guest registration.
