Looking for your next race? The Event Finder makes it easy to discover races near you or anywhere in the world, so you can start building out your race calendar.
Getting Started
- Go to ultrasignup.com.
- Choose either Event Finder or Find a Race from the site.
- When prompted, allow the site to access your location. Once location access is enabled, races near you will automatically populate your view.
Note: The Event Finder only displays races with an upcoming, confirmed date. If an event's race director hasn't yet set a date for their next edition, it won't appear until they do. For example, if a race is normally held annually but the director hasn't renewed or opened the next year's date yet, the event will temporarily be missing from search results — this doesn't mean the race is cancelled.
Browsing Races
Once races populate, you can explore them in two ways:
- Map View — On the right-hand side panel, browse a dynamic map showing race locations.
- Thumbnail View — On the left-hand side panel, scroll through race thumbnails with key details for each event.
Searching for a Race
Use the search bar to look up races by:
- Location
- Race name
- Race format
You aren't limited to races near you — you can also search for events in locations far from your current area.
Filtering Your Results
Narrow down your search using the following filters:
- Date range or month — Find races happening within a specific timeframe.
- Proximity — Set how close races are to your search location.
- Distance and duration — Filter by specific race distances or durations.
- Registration status — See which races are open, closed, or waitlisted.
- More Filters — Include or filter for virtual race options.
