A waitlist allows race directors to manage event capacity once it's full. Instead of closing registration, participants are added to a queue without being charged. If the race director opens spots, waitlisted participants will receive an email asking if they still want to join. If you say yes, your card will be charged and you’ll be added to the event. If you decline, you won’t be charged. Race directors have full control over the waitlist and the selection process.
