How to Set Up Your UltraSignup Advertisement
Ready to boost visibility for your race? Setting up a banner ad on UltraSignup is a simple way to reach more runners in your target region. Follow the steps below to create or update your event ad, and make sure your event gets in front of the right audience.
Tip: Resetting Your Banner Ad
If you created a banner ad for a previous year’s event, make sure to hit the “Delete” button on the banner ad screen before building a new one.
Starting fresh gives you a clean slate and avoids display issues with old ad content.
How to Set Up an Ad
To set up an ad for your event, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Advertising Section
- Go to your event page, then click on Tools in the admin tools section.
- Select Advertising.
Create Your Ad
Step 1: Select Your Image
- Choose an existing banner image from the options provided.
- Alternatively, upload a new image for your ad.
Step 2: Customize Your Banner
- Adjust the image and move labels around to get the look you want.
- You can change text colors and add background colors to the text for better visibility.
Step 3: Specify Target States
- Select the states where you want your ad to be displayed.
Step 4: Set Your Budget
- Enter your budget for the ad based on the number of views you want to purchase.
Ad Pricing Notes
- Ads are priced at $10 per 1,000 views.
- The payment will be automatically deducted from your available funds on the next payment date (either the 1st or 15th).

Once complete and submitted, your ad will appear on results pages for runners located in the state that you chose to advertise to:
