If you entered your code into the RaceTimer app and got a message saying the code is invalid or expired, don't panic. This is fixable in about two minutes by resetting your configuration. Here's exactly what to do.
How to Fix Your Timing App Code
Step 1: Go to Timing & Results, Get Your Code
Log in to your UltraSignup race dashboard and navigate to the Timing and Results menu to access your timing configuration. Expand Step 4, and click "Get Your Code Here".
Step 2: Mark the Expired Code Inactive
Find the expired code. Click "edit" and uncheck the "active" box next to it. Rename it so that it's easy to identify- something like Inactive, Expired, or Do Not Use - then click update.
Step 3: Reset Your Configuration
Click the red "Reset Configuration" button. Walk through the setup questions to configure your new code. You'll be asked about either your lap length or the number of times runners will cross each checkpoint during the race.
Step 4: Enter Your New Code in the Race Timer App.
Once generated, enter the new code in your RaceTimer app.
Still Having Trouble?
If you've followed these steps and the new code still isn't working, contact UltraSignup support at support@ultrasignup.zendesk.com or submit a ticket through the Help Center. Include your event name and the error message you're seeing and we'll get you sorted out fast.
