How Do I Set Up a Relay Event on UltraSignup?
Setting up a relay event on UltraSignup? Follow these steps to create your event and configure team payment options. You’ll need to select ‘Race Registration’ as the event type and indicate whether the event is a relay. Captains can either pay for the entire team or split the cost among members. UltraSignup Home Host an Event
On the UltraSignup homepage, click the orange "Host an Event" button under the revolving banner image. Move through the steps/pages and answer the questions about your new event. For more details on event requirements, please see this guide.
After entering your general event details, you will reach registration options:
For 'type,' select 'race registration.' Then answer the question "Is this a relay?"
Notes
- Event Label: Keep this label short. Long labels can affect the registration button, banner space, mobile view, and the appearance of the start time box on the registration page if events start at different times.
- Will the captain pay for the team? You can choose for the captain to pay fees or each team member. If the captain pays, set the registration fee as the total amount. If members pay, divide the total fee among them.
FAQ
- Can you set up a relay event and also have solo distances? Yes, add distances without selecting "yes" for "Is this a relay?" You can add as many distances as needed.
