How to Set your Event Location #

Setting your event location is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, failing to do so will prevent your event registration from opening. This is because providing the city/state is necessary for tax purposes. Additionally, setting the location on the map activates the directions tab in your event menu, allowing participants to easily navigate to the start location on race day. Moreover, not setting the location will result in your event not appearing in searches, as runners typically search by location. If you need to change the city/state, please reach out to support.

Enter the specific location of the start line whether it is a park or trailhead, etc. Click Find and ensure that the runner icon appears to be in the correct location on the map. If so, click Update.

** Note: If the runner icon is not located at the starting point of the event, adjust the map. You can make adjustments by dragging it or search for a new location using the find button. Once you center the runner over the exact location, click the save button. If you entered text in the “Specific Location/Address” field, that text will appear on your registration page.
